We only stock trusted brands and specialise in Natural, Holistic pet health products and Raw Dog Food. There is nothing in-store our own dogs haven't tried, and nothing goes on our shelves or in our freezers without research and true understanding of that product.

About me
Hi, im Demi!!
With several years of experience in the pet and working dog industry, I have developed a profound understanding of canine nutrition and its impact on health and behaviour. My passion for dogs extends beyond nutrition; I have actively competed in agility with two of my Border Collies Fly and Connie for many years, which has deepened my appreciation for the bond between dogs and their owners. In 2024, I proudly became a certified dog trainer, enhancing my skills and enabling me to work effectively with a diverse range of breeds. Canine nutrition has always been close to my heart, iv always wanted the best for my dogs and stumbled across the raw diet when purchasing my first puppy at the age of 24. Iv lived with dogs my whole childhood and all of them had been fed a highly processed diet, I just knew I could do better. I have worked in many canine settings from dog grooming to retail, my journey has equipped me with valuable insights, allowing me to advocate for our furry companions and fostering a holistic approach to their care and training. I take a non judgemental approach when it comes to educating dog owners about nutrition and strongly feel no matter what you feed your dogs we just want the best for them. The Canine Larder is a place to discuss your dogs needs and ask experts with real life experiences about canine nutrition. We cater for all budgets and lifestyles, we don't just stock raw food either, however, one thing we can promise is quality, everything in store id feed to my own dogs. My aim at the larder is to step away from highly marketed products and get back to how nature intended for our dogs to eat.
Meet the pack
Connie
Connie is our turning 6 year old Border Collie, She has had a very successful career in dog agility, and of course powered by raw!! She is from our home bred litter which were weaned onto a raw diet from 3 weeks of age, totally chemical free from birth to this very day. Shes the real deal, and proof an holistic way of life wins in more ways then one.
Reg
Reggie is our 2 year old Patterdale Terrier. Full of beans and always getting up to mischief. He started his raw food journey a little later in life, only 6 months ago. He has taken to his raw diet so well and hasn't turned down a meal to date. Reg suffered on and off the ear infections, since switching to raw we have been able to pin point which proteins are causing the irritation and his ears have cleared up within a month.
Moss & Aira
Brother and sister Moss and Aira will be three this year. They were both raised completely naturally, raw weaned and chemical free from birth. Having two high drive dogs that are also litter mates hasn't been an easy ride, however, feeding this pair a diet that not only keeps them healthy but also helps their behaviour too has been a life saver. A natural diet that isn't full of sugars has kept their brains sharp, ready to work and energy levels stable and them some what calmer.
